After a corona-related double break, the legendary "Kaisermania" is expected to return to Dresden's Elbe bank in summer.
Pop singer Roland Kaiser is even planning six concerts instead of four, as his management announced in Berlin on Tuesday.
This is a special gift from the Saxon state capital for the artist's 70th birthday in May.
“It has never happened before,” said Kaiser, thanking him for the “unique opportunity”.
Berlin / Dresden - He missed the atmosphere “and the very special togetherness on the Dresden Elbe bank”.
He promised his fans: "The wait and your patience will be worth it!"
For all ticket holders of the “Kaisermania” 2020 and 2021, an exclusive advance sale begins on Wednesday and then the regular one on November 16.
The "Kaisermania" has been a highlight of the film nights on the banks of the Dresden Elbe for years.
The singer played several concerts there every year until 2019, each of which regularly attracted over 40,000 fans.
