Freising

- The seven-day incidence in the Freising district has risen sharply recently.

From 75.4 on Thursday, October 14th, to Monday, October 18th, it went up to 102.0.

This is due to the significantly higher number of corona cases compared to the previous week.

On Tuesday, the incidence dropped back to 94.8.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The Freising Health Department is currently aware of a major outbreak.

After a celebration with around 50 guests, 19 people tested positive according to the current status.

Apart from that, a predominantly diffuse infection process can currently be observed in the district.

Smaller clusters are mainly assigned to the family, and to a lesser extent also to the school environment.

This is announced by Robert Stangl from the District Office.

Case tracking not possible on a daily basis

In addition, the Freising District Office is strengthening the contact tracing team (CTT) of the health department, although employees are still being sought.

Due to the strong increase in the number of cases and the further relaxation in combination with the limited capacities of the CTT, case and contact person follow-up is currently not possible on a daily basis.

3G rule no longer only applies to visitors

Meanwhile, the Bavarian State Government has adjusted the 14th Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance (BayIfSMV) again.

In paragraph 5, the group of those companies and events, the

contact details

must raise, clearly limited. In future, contact details will initially have to be collected for all major events of any kind with more than 1,000 people in buildings, closed rooms, stadiums or other places with restricted access. In addition, we continue to use body-friendly services as well as in clubs, discos, brothels and comparable leisure facilities. In the catering industry, contact details only need to be determined when there is loud dance music in closed rooms. In the case of private celebrations in closed societies with fewer than 1000 people, the obligation to collect contact data will no longer apply.

3G rule not only for visitors:

Paragraph 3 of the regulation stipulates that the 3G rule now applies to the facilities covered not only for customers and visitors, but also for providers, organizers, operators, employees and volunteers direct customer contact is to be applied.

Section 3a has also been changed accordingly, so that this regulation must also be observed wherever 2G or 3Gplus applies voluntarily.

As a result of the new version of Paragraph 9, hospitals and preventive and rehabilitation facilities in which comparable medical care is provided, in addition to visitors, employees who have not been vaccinated and who have not recovered and volunteers who come into contact with patients must prove a negative test twice a week.
