In Saxony-Anhalt, around 291,000 euros were paid out in shooting bonuses for 4475 wild boars for the period from January to March 2021.
This emerges from the response of the state government to a request from the AfD parliamentary group.
In order to prevent the introduction of African swine fever, the state parliament decided last year to pay hunters a premium for shooting wild boars.
Magdeburg - A total of 2.5 million euros is available for the “wild boar hunt premium” this year, with 65 euros being paid out on request for each wild boar hunted.
Most of the funding has so far been given in the Harz district (620) and in the Wittenberg district (602), the fewest in Halle (69) and Magdeburg (4).

Economy Minister Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut (CDU) opened the controversial Baden-Württemberg House at the Expo in Dubai today (11:00 a.m.).
The southwest is the only federal state that is represented with its own pavilion at the show that started on Thursday.

More than 720,000 vaccinations against corona have been administered in the four vaccination centers in Saarland.
