After the serious accident with ten people injured near Crivitz (Ludwigslust-Parchim), the police are investigating the driver of a van on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.
The 21-year-old is said to have suddenly entered the opposite lane with his vehicle on Monday and collided with three other cars, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
Crivitz - There were a total of seven occupants in the van with the driver.
According to previous knowledge, the van had initially left the road to the right before the accident on the country road, and then the driver had probably counter-steered.
The police have hired an expert to investigate the accident situation more closely.
All four cars were badly damaged in the collision, especially the van.
