Since Friday (October 15), there has been a major relief in the Corona rule in Bavaria.
The cabinet around Söder decided on Tuesday.
Munich - For a long time, checking in via the app or filling out contact forms was part of everyday life because of the corona pandemic *.
This is over in Bavaria with immediate effect - at least in many areas.
Corona / Bavaria: Obligation to record contact data does not apply in many areas
In gastronomy and culture and in many other areas in Bavaria, the previous corona-related obligation to record contact data is no longer applicable. From this Friday (October 15th) customers and visitors no longer have to provide personal information when they want to eat or go to the cinema. There is no need to check in via the app or fill out contact forms.
According to the cabinet decision on Tuesday, contact details only have to be recorded in priority areas "with a high risk of multiple infections (spreading)". This includes all closed events with more than 1000 people, clubs, discos, brothels "and comparable leisure facilities" as well as gastronomic offers with dance music.

The regulation does not apply in all other areas.
Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU) had emphasized after the cabinet decision on Tuesday that this would not basically give up the determination of contact persons.
But a coverage in the previous width is no longer very useful.
