The authorities prefer when citizens have appointments made online.

That has proven itself during Corona, so the tenor.

The Dachauer Nachrichten asked various administrations what citizens should consider if they had a request.

District - Since the corona pandemic, it is no longer that easy to make appointments in the administrations of the district communities or in the Dachau district office.

Some of the offices are now open to the public again.

But if you want to go to the town halls or citizens' offices without first notifying yourself online, you have to be very patient.

If he's unlucky, he'll have to stay outside.

Citizens' Office Dachau

The Citizens' Office of the City of Dachau will stick to the online version for the long term when it comes to appointments.

"Up to now, registration has been online and will remain online," says Head of the Office, Josef Hermann.

To reassure him, Hermann adds: "The situation has eased, so you have to wait a maximum of one week for the next online appointment." It is also possible to come to the citizens' office without an appointment.

Then, however, it means: pull the number and wait until you are called.

And the rule is: visitors with an appointment are given priority.

That is why Hermann clearly recommends "continuing to make an online appointment with the citizens' office".

Karlsfeld community

In the community of Karlsfeld, those responsible see it relaxed.

Head of the office, Francesco Cataldo, announced that the Karlsfelder can book online as well as drop by in person until further notice.

But: "Unfortunately, guests without an online appointment have to expect longer waiting times," warns Cataldo.

Petershausen community

Mayor Marcel Fath wants to stick to the previous system of online appointment allocation until the end of the year.

“Because it has been well received and has proven itself,” he says.

Online has the advantage that there are also appointments outside of the usual city hall opening times.

In the long run, however, Fath “definitely does not want to keep the interview on registration”.

Fath: "The town hall should definitely be allowed to enter again." When exactly is not yet certain.

Hebertshausen community

Public traffic only by appointment - that has proven itself in the Corona period and will therefore be retained for the citizens' office, explains managing director Rudolf Grabl.

“That works well, especially since the home office is to be pursued for the employees,” adds Stephanie Dürr from the Citizens' Office.

What is new is that online appointments can be reserved in the Hebertshausen community for a suitable period of time, depending on the issue.

“That way we can plan better,” says Dürr.

Citizens who spontaneously drop by in person are not sent away.

Dürr: "We'll see that we put them in between."

Community of Indersdorf

Online appointments have become the norm in Indersdorf since Corona.

That is what you “love best”, says Carolin Siegl from the community office.

With an online appointment, the guests of the citizens' office are spared a long waiting time, says Siegl and adds: “It always depends on the number of appointments.

If this fits, we can also push spontaneous guests in between ”.

District Office Dachau

According to press spokeswoman Sina Török, the district office continues to adjust to “only online”.

This also applies to the branch offices such as the heavily frequented vehicle registration office.

But there are also alternatives.

In the social consultation hour, for example, you can also call.

More details can be found on the website of the district office.

It is also possible to come by in person.

But: Because the number of visits is severely limited due to the corona, according to Török, it is difficult to handle when people appear spontaneously on site.

Török: "We decide on a case-by-case basis whether we can accept."
