As the Regensburg police * wrote, a 37-year-old drove his car into another parked vehicle.
The owner of the damaged car watched the incident.
When he wanted to speak to the person who had caused the accident, he fled on foot and hid between several trucks in the Junkerstrasse area.

Police officers from PI Regensburg Süd were able to arrest the man on site.
They asked the 37-year-old to have a blood test on suspicion that he was driving under the influence of drugs.
At the same time, the officers found that the license plate on the suspect's car had been stolen and the man did not have a driver's license.
The investigation against him is now continuing.
The 37-year-old has to reckon with reports of endangering road traffic, unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident and driving without a driver's license, among other things.
