After the dramatic scenes in the Hamburg football league, the all-clear: Berkant Aydin (22) from SC Concordia was able to leave the hospital on Tuesday and should now regenerate at home.
The club announced this on Twitter.
Hamburg - Aydin had collided with a teammate in the point game at USC Paloma, was unconscious and had swallowed his tongue.
His teammates saved his life with courageous intervention on the field before the emergency doctor could take over the further care.
The game (2: 2) was considered to have ended normally.
The unfortunate action happened in stoppage time.
