In his well-deserved retirement, the school and the community, as the school authority, have said goodbye to the long-time Gaißach school caretaker Alois Angermeier.
He worked there for exactly 30 years.
Gaißach - Alois Angermeier, who was also a member of the local council for 24 years, saw his task not only as a job and was something of an institution in the school: “Extremely committed and also universally accepted and respected - even among the students, what is in today is not a matter of course ”, emphasized Mayor Stefan Fadinger in his laudation.
"You have always been fully committed to 'your' school and paid attention to it as much as to your own house," he emphasized.
Alois Angermeier has always cared about people
But Angermeier has always been very concerned about the people: the teaching staff, the four rectors as well as the cleaning ladies as well as the children and young people.
During the school holidays, when he had to bring the many renovation measures under one roof, Angermeier “worked up a sweat one time or another, despite his even-tempered and calm demeanor,” reported town hall chief Fadinger.

Like him, former mayor Nikolaus Trischberger and headmistress Stephanie Eckert thanked him for his commitment.
The mayor presented Angermeier with a present and wished him good health and all the best with his family for the future.
