The wave is fading, but the contagion events continue:
an unvaccinated Capoeira guide in the Jezreel Valley directly infected dozens of children in the class and caused a total of more than 90 cases of contagion in the entire valley area.
In total the guide infected 37 children.
The instructor in Kfar Yehezkel conducted positive home tests, but did not share it with anyone.
Those same children caused further infections in shuttles, kindergartens and schools.
Because the guide did not cooperate in the epidemiological investigations, the incident went to police.
During the infection in the class, a mother who accompanied her child was also infected.
The rest of the infected (36) in the class were between the ages of 4 and 11. Nine of the children who participated in the class participated in school transportation during the time they were contagious.
Most of the cases of infection later in the schools were discovered in the localities of Beit Alfa (19) and Emek Harod (18).
Roi Aloni, chairman of the committee in Kfar Yehezkel, told Israel Today: "In Kfar Yehezkel we have 21 verified.
This is a Capoeira guide that has private classes that are not related to the local education system.
These are a total of six families, which are verified and those who need isolation keep the rules.
We are dealing with this and I hope that on Friday when further tests are conducted in the locality our situation will be much better.
I believe the Ministry of Health has spoken to him and I see no reason why he should not cooperate.
He's a good guy from the community. "
The guide refused Israel Today's request to comment.
In another case, published in Israel Today, the number of people infected at Eshkol School in Rosh HaAyin at Eshkol School reached 65 verified in the last two weeks in total. The district doctor recommended closing the school, but the Ministry of Education objected.
The response of the Ministry of Education will be provided when received.
The Rosh HaAyin municipality claimed that the incident took place about two weeks ago and was handled.
