Bayer Leverkusen have to do without the Chilean national soccer player Charles Aranguiz for several weeks.
The 32-year-old is due to a muscle tendon injury in the right calf, announced the Bundesliga third on Tuesday.
Aranguiz had the injury in the final training of the Werkself for the top game against FC Bayern Munich (1:
Leverkusen - 5) moved in last Sunday.
According to the club, the defensive midfielder will only be available again this year after the last international break at the earliest.
In the first game after that, Bayer will face promoted VfL Bochum on November 20.
Aranguiz had recently played together with Kerem Demirbay in front of the back four and was represented in the duel against Bayern by Nadiem Amiri.
