A former employee of the police in Paderborn has to pay a fine of 5,400 euros in two cases for possessing child and youth pornographic images. The decision of the Lemgo district court was made at the request of the Detmold public prosecutor, as spokesman Ralf Vetter told the German Press Agency on Tuesday. Radio Hochstift had previously reported about the fine.
Detmold / Paderborn - When the former employee was searched in his apartment in Lemgo in the Lippe district in September 2018 and November 2019, once 6 and then 91 image files were found.
Most of the pictures showed youth pornography, as the spokesman for the Detmold public prosecutor said.
The now 35-year-old accepted a job with the police after the first search.
When the authorities found out about the second search, he was released, according to Vetter.
