The Judges' Union and the Bar Association are on their way to cooperation, but not legally.
The two bodies have reached an agreement on a judges' course for the children's and youth leagues that will be given to lawyers who want to judge.
The matters were agreed between the general manager of the Judges' Association, Yariv Tepper, and Adv. Hagai Harel, a member of the National Council of Lawyers.
The course will be guided by referees and instructors from the Premier League.
The judges' association's attempt to recruit child and youth judges stems from a certain shortage at these ages.
Even the existing referees are mostly young people who want to develop and reach the Premier League in the future.
The union's general manager, Yariv Tepper, an attorney himself, claimed in conversations with the heads of the association that "these are quality people, ones who will surely be able to add to us at these ages and perhaps even beyond."
