For more than a year, nothing went wrong with Carnival due to the corona pandemic.

Now the new foolish season is just around the corner - and many clubs can hardly wait.

Fürstenfeldbruck

- Concepts are already being fine-tuned as to how Mardi Gras can be celebrated as safely as possible.

There are still big question marks behind some events.

The official prince couple of the city of Fürstenfeldbruck provides the home guild this year.

"They are already training and are looking forward to being able to dance," says Gildemeister Daniel Brando.

The 3G + rule applies to the events - i.e. only vaccinated, convalescent and people with a negative PCR test have access.

This means that the New Year's Eve gala can also be held again.

The big celebration was reduced to 320 visitors.

“So people can dance without a mask,” says Brando.

Children's festival in Fürstenfeld

With the children's balls, however, he is cautious, they are unlikely.

There should be a big children's festival in Fürstenfeld at the end of the carnival spurt on February 26th - preferably outdoors.

The Supergardetreffen is also in preparation - outside or inside.

On the other hand, they distance themselves from the open-air carnival on Geschwister-Scholl-Platz.

For that you have to cordon off the square - too much effort.

The carnival friends want to hold the two children's balls and the Laughing Hearts Ball in the Mammendorf community center, reports chairman Karlheinz Graff.

The Ladies Night on Nonsensical Thursday is also in preparation.

3G + is the minimum.

“Maybe we will also go to 2G at certain events,” says Graff.

The guards are already training hard.

"You would be happy if there was an appearance."

Prince couple from last year

The Faschingsgilde Olching (FGO) also wants to get started.

The proclamation of the prince couple is on November 6th.

This time, President Martina Klein-Minigshofer is confident that it will not have to be canceled at short notice like last year.

The prince couple stayed the same.

Amelie Nießl and Luca Maier (Amelie I. and Luca I.) can look forward to finally presenting themselves in costumes.

The 2020 program will be pushed back to 2021.

“We have never officially shown the clothes so far.” According to the president, the team is “completely vaccinated”.

Olching parade should take place again

The organizers of the Olchinger Gaudiwurm are also full of verve.

"We really want to organize a move again," says spokeswoman Brigitte Schwaninger.

Now it has to be clarified how you can get the big event off the ground - under corona conditions.

“It is seen as a positive signal that the Damischen Knights move to Munich in 2022.” They want to discuss a concept with the organizers there and also have to agree with the city of Olching.

The Gaudiwurm is a crowd puller with around 25,000 visitors.

Carnival for television

But there was a lot of motivation recently.

"We were allowed to play a bit of carnival," says Schwaninger.

Like other foolish groups, the Olchinger were hired to film the program “Aktenzeichen XY unsolved ...”.

Gaudiwurm difficult to control

In Gernlinden the euphoria is still limited.

The cartel of the Gernlindner associations would like to organize a carnival procession.

However, there are concerns about how this should be implemented in a corona-compliant manner.

“The problem is that it is difficult to narrow down the area,” explains chairman Christian Kemether.

“How should you implement something like 3G?” An alternative to the train could be a carnival run in front of the community center.

It is still unclear whether the Gaudiwurm will move through Mammendorf.

“It's completely up in the air,” says cultural advisor Anton Fasching.

In the festival and culture committee, he will address the topic.

A decision will be made in November at the earliest.

The Dance Corporation Maisach is planning two children's balls including performances by the children's group.

The little ones want to present their show program at the beginning of January.

So that everything can take place, the association is desperately looking for a large, suitable room.

Because the Gernlindner Bürgerzentrum, which is usually used for celebrations, is closed due to construction work.

Big question marks in Germering

The Germeringer show dance group Fun Unlimited does not yet know how to organize the crazy season.

From the point of view of the new chairman, Gerhard Fuchs, it is only certain that there will be a child prince couple.

The adults will not line up a couple because it is unclear whether and how many appearances it will have.

But one will choose representatives who could represent the association and the city.

“At the moment there are simply too many imponderables,” explains Fuchs.
