The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 45 deaths and 883 new infections with the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, the official spokesman for the ministry, said in a statement that the total number of injuries in the country has so far reached 319,339, and the total number of deaths has reached 18,015.
Mujahid indicated that 639 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 269,482 people to date.
Yesterday, Egypt recorded 44 deaths and 871 infections with the Corona virus.
