The preparatory work for the construction of the fire station on Hochfeldstrasse in Tegernsee is in full swing.

And the 15 million project was again an issue in the city council.

Tegernsee - While two sides of the excavation pit have already been secured, excavators are digging further.

The fire station with its six barrier-free apartments between 40 and 48 square meters in size was also an issue in the city council.

It was about sun protection for the windows and the decision as to which variant would be the best for it: Venetian blinds for 64,000 euros, fabric awnings for 50,000 euros or sliding wooden elements for 90,000 euros.

As the building authority manager Bettina Koch explained, an area of 180 square meters has to be shaded.

The city councils had already seen a visualization in advance.

Sun protection for apartments in the Tegernsee fire station: "Rules and regulations"

Ursula Janssen (Greens) said that the sums for sun protection are not much in view of the total costs for the project of around 15 million euros. But she is already wondering whether this is really necessary. “This is a set of rules and regulations,” explained architect Claudia Schreiber and informed that they had already limited themselves to the absolutely necessary area. Mayor Johannes Hagn (CSU) reported that district builder Christian Boiger had meanwhile also given his opinion on the fire station. He agrees with the facade design, which provides for a concrete plinth at the bottom and a gray glazed larch wood battens at the top. He also liked a sand-colored awning for sun protection best.

There was also new information about the planned photovoltaic system.

It should be designed as a so-called in-roof system like a roof covering.

There wasn't much discussion in the boardroom in the Quirinal.

Only Rudolf Gritsch (CSU) found that the awning variant seemed the most logical to him.

It was therefore unanimously agreed that the sun protection should be designed as a fabric awning.

Tegernsee fire station: further contracts awarded

In the further course of the meeting, managing director Hans Staudacher announced several resolutions that had been passed in a closed meeting in August.

On the one hand, the master builder work in the amount of 3.3 million euros was awarded to the Munich-based company Probat Bau.

In addition, orders were placed to build an elevator system for around 106,000 euros, for a so-called lifting scissor table for around 84,000 euros and for sectional doors for around 191,000 euros.

In addition, a health and safety coordinator was hired for around 16,000 euros.
