With his re-election at the annual meeting, the 19 members present would have supported his previous local politics, Brucker told Starnberger Merkur.
He campaigns for daycare centers that are within walking distance in all residential areas - with less car traffic.
There were no big surprises in the new elections. In addition to Brucker, his deputy Dieter Appel, secretary Maja Zorn, treasurer Oliver Meyer and the assessors Ingo Hugger, Dr. Carola Wenzel, Lore Krumbholz, Christel Romero-Stempel, Dr. Otfried Ischebeck and Dr. Andreas Romero. The new Gautinger Andreas Krüger was elected to the board for the first time.
With 15.8 percent in the federal election in Gauting, the SPD, which had provided the mayor Brigitte Servatius until 2014, is smelling the morning air again: "Ernst Ittner is living proof of a social-liberal coalition," says Brucker, referring to the ongoing negotiations at the federal level .
Ittner is married to the former FDP councilor Christa von Eine and joined the SPD when the social-liberal coalition under Willy Brandt and Walter Scheel was breaking out: he was honored for 50 years of membership in the oldest party in the republic.

"The politics of the Gautinger SPD has consistently addressed the major local political issues in recent years," emphasizes Brucker. The CSU failed to provide sufficient childcare places. Every fourth child in Gauting has no place. But in order to curb car traffic, the spaces would have to be distributed evenly in the residential areas and districts via the ongoing location analysis. The communal property at the school campus on Wiesmahdstrasse, which has already been designated as a “child care” area, is “not suitable”. Because Wiesmahdstrasse is a dead end. The residents would therefore have "double the traffic".
Brucker also sees the development of the future socio-ecological model settlement Am Patchway Anger with affordable living space as well as the Handwerkerhof and the future industrial areas "Gautinger Feld" and the special airport Oberpfaffenhofen as critical: Because this growth policy with "up to 800 new residents" in the planning area AOA Gauting as well The infrastructure of Gauting with constant traffic jams, high rents and a lack of day-care centers is not even able to cope with the traffic or housing needs of “thousands of employees from three industrial areas”.
