"Discriminated because in possession of the green pass as a swab and not as a vaccine, certification which became mandatory on October 15th".
This is what some employees of a company in Northern Italy denounced, making a video inside the workplace where they were relegated: "A deposit of disused industrial and office materials, with makeshift desks in the midst of scrap of various kinds and, above all, in an unsanitary environment, dirty and with animal excrement ".
The company's indications in this regard have been summarized in a notice: "This is to remind the Employees that access to the office in via XXX (the exact references have been obscured by the employees themselves, ed) is allowed only with the valid vaccine green pass. Therefore workers not provided with this certification will be able to access the office located in via YYY by presenting a valid green pass from a tampon ".
The communication goes on to specify that the personnel located in the detached building must not have contact with that of the main office, under penalty of the possibility for the company to "disciplinarily punish" those employees "with a dispute".
While a subsequent circular adds that unvaccinated workers are also barred from using the canteen.
"We have separated those who are completely safe from those with limited security," explained the owner of the company, when asked about the matter.
"The other building? I didn't check it myself."
