Abstract.
New twist in an endless showdown in the courts.
On Monday, October 18, the Versailles Criminal Court pronounces the release of Christina Kragh Michelsen, companion of Jean-Claude Guerlain.
The Franco-Danish was accused of "neglect", in other words of not allowing the ex-perfumer of 84 years, very weakened by Alzheimer's disease, to benefit from sufficient care.
For more than a decade, the former manager of Guerlain has been at the heart of an indefatigable legal dispute, which pits his concubine against his only son and designated guardian.
According to Stéphane Guerlain, the 63-year-old woman, who has been seeking marriage for years, is only interested in her father's fortune and the huge family property located in the Yvelines.
This episode is told by Caroline Piquet, journalist with the Parisian police-justice service Île-de-France.
