Manfred Hülsmann will no longer run for president of VfL Osnabrück at the upcoming annual general meeting.
The current incumbent decided against running again for personal reasons, the third division soccer team announced on Tuesday.
The election committee proposed Holger Elixmann as his successor.
The 51-year-old comments on VfL's games on the club's radio and has chaired previous annual general meetings.
Osnabrück - In addition to the election of the presidium, elections for the advisory board, the supervisory board and the honorary council will be held at the event on November 14th.
Hülsmann applies for a place on the advisory board.
