Starnberg

- Because of a heavy smoke development in the office of a commercial enterprise on Petersbrunner Straße in Starnberg not far from the B2, numerous fire departments from Starnberg and the surrounding area were alerted on Tuesday shortly after 8 a.m.

A roof fire in the great hall was also not excluded.

According to the police, people were not in danger.

A fire in a bus hall had been reported, including in the roof.

This led to a B4 alarm for the weirs in Starnberg, Söcking, Pöcking, Berg, Meiling, Hochstadt, Oberpfaffenhofen and numerous rescue vehicles.

In fact, a fan heater burned that set carpeting on fire - which led to the heavy smoke.

The fire was extinguished quickly, said District Fire Chief Peter Bauch on request.
