After many corona-related cancellations, the ensemble of the Loisachtaler Bauernbühne did what it likes to do at the weekend: just play the theater.

There was a lot of applause.

Geretsried

- In 1981 a group of mostly young amateur actors presented their first play "The Honest Liar".

Four decades and many performances later, the co-founder of the Loisachtaler Bauernbühne (LBB) Ludwig Gollwitzer announced the premiere of the three-act play "Ma konns oafach koam right macha!"

"Isn't it great that we can play again," said Gollwitzer, relieved. As reported, the Loisachtaler Bauernbühne lost a lot of income due to corona-related cancellations of performances. In addition, the council chamber was only allowed to be filled with fewer tables this time than in 2019. Gollwitzer therefore asked the 70 or so visitors to give the “completely impoverished” Bauernbühne an additional donation.

Before the curtain opened and allowed a clear view of the beer garden scenery designed by the stage builders Max Prestel and Konrad Huber, LBB newcomer Markus Auer positioned himself in front of the prompter box.

In his role as mayor of the village of Faderhausen, he had to deal with the protest voices of the other actors from the far end of the room.

A surprising trick by director Monika Schwenger and assistant director Susanne Vorderwühlbecke, who cleverly initiated the action that took place in 1953.

In the first act it quickly became clear why the villagers want a tourist upgrade and more hustle and bustle in their very manageable microcosm: There is simply precious little going on in their town.

Initially, only the brisk Genoveva Lamperl (LBB chairman Melanie Tobian), the clumsy butcher Bertl Butscher (Tom Janoschi) and the bored beer dimpfl Ignaz Noagerl (Michael Hanak) caused a few laughs.

Together with the waitress Lissi Zeitlos (Melissa Demmel), landlady Rosa Noagerl (Christine Brauner) and the intentionally conservative Benedikt Lamperl (Andreas Wastian) they forge the plan, the director Walter von Schaumschlag (Hermann Paetzmann) with the production of a commercial about her Commission the village.

The tension build-up for the more turbulent and entertaining second act succeeded, especially since Tobian showed the courage to be ugly in 50s love-killer underwear. The audience liked her frivolous bed scene with the film director, as did the Bavarian synchronization of the affected actress Ria Ringelpietz (Daniela Ermer) and Frederik Bünnenquall (Martin Zengerle). The fact that the short-sighted assistant director Pelle Plintfux (Stefan Randi) thought the young undertaker Gustav Grabrucker (Tobias Zengerle) was a woman and made advances to him increased the gossip factor. In some scenes this could only be endured with the “beer-schnapps-carefree package” served by the landlady Rosa Noagerl. The final loud applause from the visitors - among them Geretsried's Second Mayor Sonja Frank and Kulturherbst impresario Günter Wagner - was mainly due to the good-humored actors and the director. They made the few weaknesses of the piece written by Martin Stelzer forgotten, especially in the second and third act.
