Magnitude 6 earthquake shakes Karpathos, Greece, according to USGS

A preliminary magnitude 6 earthquake struck Greece on Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The epicenter was located 149 kilometers southeast of the Karpathos coast, the USGS said.

And it had a depth of 23 miles, according to the USGS.
