A 46-year-old man was robbed and injured in Übach-Palenberg in the Heinsberg district when he tried to pick up a cell phone offered on the Internet.
A stranger hit him in the face with a gun, a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday.
The 46-year-old had seen an offer for a mobile phone online and wanted to pick it up on Saturday.
