Iranian police today seized more than 1.4 tons of drugs in Kerman Province, southeast of Iran.
Fars news agency quoted the prosecutor of the General and Revolutionary Courts in the city of Bam in Kerman province, Muhammad Zia al-Diny, as saying that in light of the efforts made by security cadres in the General Department of Security in eastern Kerman province, a ton and 435 kg of drugs were seized in the village of Khawaja Askar, noting that The head of the drug smuggling gang was arrested, two cars, a number of forged car numbers, and quantities of technical equipment were seized.
