After a chase, the police arrested a suspected robber trio near Bad Oeynhausen in a stolen car.
The three young men between the ages of 18 and 21 are suspected of having committed a series of sometimes serious crimes, the police said on Tuesday.
Officials therefore took them on Monday night after they discovered the trio on the A2 near Bad Oeynhausen (Minden-Lübbecke district).
Bad Oeynhausen - During the pursuit, the driver collided with the emergency vehicle after a turning maneuver.
The men are said to have threatened a 26-year-old in Hamm with a firearm last Thursday and demanded that her car key be handed over.
The woman complied and one of the perpetrators fled with the stolen sports car.
A day later, the trio armed attacked a supermarket in Paderborn and fled with the money from the till.
In addition, the suspects are responsible for a fuel fraud in Gütersloh and Hanover with the stolen car.

A 28-year-old man and a 17-year-old are said to have attacked several young people in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
The couple was arrested, the police said on Sunday.
They are said to have threatened two 16 and 17 year old boys with a knife in Lietzenseepark on Saturday evening and demanded money and valuables from them.
However, the youths escaped unharmed.

The suspects should be brought before a judge, it said on Tuesday.
