During a demonstration on Odeonsplatz, the police took action against a journalist.
A video on the Internet shows the shocking scene.
Munich - On the sidelines of a demonstration on Odeonsplatz (old town *) there was a dispute between deployed police forces and journalists on Sunday.
A photographer was threatened by an officer with the words "Come here if you need it".
When another photographer tried to help his colleague, the policeman repeated these words and held up his baton.
A video on the Internet documents the scene.

Police in Munich: The photographer was not recognizable as a press representative
Both photographers were working professionally to shoot the demonstration.
When this shifted towards the Interior Ministry, the dispute broke out.
At the request of our newspaper, the Munich police * said that the photographer was not immediately recognizable as a press representative.
This is critical insofar as shortly before several demo participants had to be pushed back with the baton when they broke through a construction site on Von-der-Thann-Straße.
Two policemen were injured.
A demonstrator also tried to steal his service weapon from one of the police officers deployed during the action.
