London - Prince William (39) and the Royal Foundation have launched the Earthshot Award.
The award rewards inspiring and innovative environmental solutions from around the world and gives five winners one million pounds each (around 1,184,590 million euros) and is set to run for ten years.
One person is almost bursting with pride: even before the award ceremony, Prince Charles (72) expressed his emotions on Instagram. *

“I am very proud of my son William * for his growing commitment to the environment and the bold ambition with which he brought the Earthshot Prize to life.” The Prince of Wales continued: “The world must come together to make it sustainable The future that we so desperately need to be redesigned and built.
The Earthshot Prize and its inspiring nominees will help us find innovative solutions for future generations over the next ten years. ”Five prizes will be awarded over the next ten years.
By 2030 there should be 50 solid solutions to save our planet on the table.
