Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor recommended in the last "policy address" of the current government to establish a "cultural, sports and tourism bureau" that focuses on culture, sports and tourism.
It is generally believed that the relevant direction is correct, and that it will finally be able to break the drawbacks of multiple politicians and redistribute development positioning and resource allocation.
However, the establishment of a decision-making department is not the same as "everything is going to happen." It is still necessary to formulate relevant policies to better protect cultural development.
