As the police reported, a 59-year-old from Ingolstadt was driving his VW on the district road FS 24 near the Pelka district and overlooked the stop sign in the direction of Weißling to the B13.
A 46-year-old who was driving her Audi on the B13 and was given right of way could no longer brake and collided with the quickly crossing VW.
The Audi crashed into the left side of the VW vehicle at 70 km / h, so that it was thrown onto the other side of the intersection.
Total loss to Audi and VW
The person who caused the accident was seriously injured by the impact, the injured party moderately.
Both were taken to nearby hospitals.
The injured's husband, who was in the vehicle, also had to be treated by a doctor with minor injuries.
The vehicles were totaled with a total loss of around 61,500 euros.
