The quantities of sifted and sterilized wheat seed in the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in Al-Hasakah Governorate reached 800 tons.
The director of the Foundation's branch, Eng. Ayed Al-Hussein, told SANA reporter that the branch is continuing the process of sifting and sterilizing the wheat seed ready for planting, and it is scheduled to prepare 4,500 tons of seeds that will be borrowed from livestock warehouses in the city of Qamishli.
He pointed to the readiness of the Foundation branch to sell farmers and farmers wheat seed for cash according to the price set by the public administration, calling on those wishing to purchase to review the branch.
The General Organization for Seed Multiplication has set the selling price of one kilogram of wheat seed to farmers at 1,585 pounds, and the price of one kilogram of barley seed at 1,743 pounds.
