Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian reiterated that the acceptable negotiations on the nuclear agreement for his country are the ones that have "concrete practical results."
Abdullahian said during a telephone conversation today with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres that "Iran supports negotiations that have tangible practical results, and if the other parties to the nuclear agreement fully implement their commitments, Iran will return to their commitments as well," noting that his country considers the issue of prisoner exchange a humanitarian issue. It does not want to link it to the negotiations on the nuclear agreement.
Abdullahian described the recent negotiations on the nuclear agreement between Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri and the Assistant General Coordinator for Foreign Policy of the European Union Enrique Mora as "positive", pointing out that these negotiations will continue in Brussels next week.
The Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his concern over the terrorist attacks carried out by ISIS in Afghanistan in recent days, calling on the United Nations to take serious measures to stop and combat terrorism in Afghanistan.
