Testimonies of passengers from the hot air balloon disaster: "shouted at an employee to hold on, and then he fell"
One of the passengers in the hot air balloon from which 28-year-old worker Yogev Cohen fell to his death recounted the dramatic moments that led to the serious accident.
"He was holding the handle and did not leave when we took off, they shouted at him to get into the basket and then he fell and we saw the body on the road, it is such an unnecessary death," she said.

One of the passengers of the balloon from which Yogev Cohen, 28, from Kibbutz Jezreel, died this morning (Tuesday), told Walla!
Cohen did not leave the basket on the sides of the ball after they rose from the ground, and that it was difficult to land due to a high voltage line.
"We started hearing shouts: 'Let him get in the basket' and 'Hold on.' But we did not see him, because he was on the side far from us."
According to the passenger, "We received safety instructions from the hot air balloon pilot, and then he asked the two employees of the company who were standing on the ground to hold the basket from the outside, to balance it, so that it would take off straight.

She added that "the two workers held the shadow on both sides, on its short ribs and we took off. On our side the guy from the ground left the basket after we got up, but the other side (the side that Cohen held - AA) did not leave."
The passenger said they had difficulty landing the ball due to a high voltage line at the site and a main road.
She said, "He fell and we saw the body on the road. It is horrible. Unnecessary death. In my head I had the pictures of the people in Afghanistan who were hung on the planes and fell. It is a terrible end."
