The Ministry of Health published today (Tuesday) data according to which 1,483 new verified patients were diagnosed yesterday out of 108,692 tests performed, which is a 1.42 percent positive rate - the lowest since July.
The number of patients in critical condition stands at 360 people, of whom 161 are respirators.
The coefficient of infection continues to decrease and stands at 0.78.
The number of vaccinated in the third dose is 3,856,772, while yesterday we were vaccinated 9,834, and the day before yesterday we were vaccinated with the booster dose of 12,614.
Relatively low immunization rate,
This is a relatively low rate of immunization, which, if left unchecked, will greatly reduce the number of people in Israel who are entitled to a green card, and will expose more people in winter to the risk of re-infection.
It is important to emphasize that in Israel, the second dose of the vaccine received 5,703,661 people, so there is a gap of about two million people between the second and third doses.
The outbreak of the plague infected 1,318,478 people, but most of them have been vaccinated for six months, so they too need to be vaccinated.
The death toll so far stands at 8,010 when another six died yesterday.
