Around four years after a grandchild fraud with loot worth around 100,000 euros, a defendant was acquitted.
The 32-year-old was unable to prove that he was involved in the acts to the detriment of a pensioner, the Berlin-Tiergarten district court justified on Tuesday.
The now 78-year-old man had previously stated in the trial that he could not identify the defendant as the woman who sold jewelry, gold bars, coins and cash totaling 100 in July 2017.
