The extradition to the United States from Cape Verde of the alleged front man of the questioned President Nicolás Maduro, Alex Saab, puts the Venezuelan regime in a very complicated situation.
And his reaction has been such that, according to the former mayor of Chacao, Ramón Muchacho, "he is unable to understand that the US justice goes through one channel and politics and politicians go through another channel."
Maduro denounced an alleged kidnapping by Washington and suspended the dialogue with the opposition, because he would fear what Saab may reveal.
