Tourism, health and regional day in Oberau

This year the Zugspitz Region GmbH is organizing a joint tourism, health and regional day in the culture park in Oberau on October 22nd and 23rd.

While the tourism day on October 22nd is only open to invited guests, all citizens are invited to the health and regional day on Saturday, October 23rd (the current Corona regulations apply).

The Zugspitz Region GmbH invites you to a joint tourism, health and regional day on October 22nd and 23rd, which will take place in the Kulturpark Oberau. The fact that the topics of health, nutrition and regional products go together wonderfully was already demonstrated at the Health & Regional Day 2018 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This time the Zugspitz Region GmbH event will be complemented by service providers from the tourism sector. While the Tourism Day on October 22nd is only open to invited guests from the tourism sector, all citizens are invited to the Health and Regional Day on Saturday, October 23rd (the current Corona regulations apply).A wide range of exhibitors from the health sector want to sensitize visitors to the topic of health and encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle with interactive activities. In addition, numerous regional suppliers present products and handicrafts from the Zugspitz region to try and touch.

Tourism day under the motto "resonance tourism":

It is already the 5th day of tourism in the Zugspitz region.

The motto of this year's industry get-together is “resonance tourism”.

In an exciting keynote speech, the invited guests learn what resonance tourism means and how it can influence the relationship between guest and host.

All landlords, hotels, restaurateurs and other tourism service providers from the Zugspitz region are invited.

“The aim of our tourism day is to give the participants valuable suggestions for their businesses and companies.

The focus is on personal discussions and the exchange of experiences with industry partners and experts on the topics of tourism, nature, sustainability and regional value creation, ”says Philipp Holz, tourism manager at Zugspitz Region GmbH.

Health day: Health care with a fun factor:

At the 5th edition of the “healthiest day of the year in the district”, everything revolves again this time around the topics of exercise, nutrition, relaxation, prevention and early detection.

In addition to numerous exhibitors, there is also a varied forum for participation this year to experience and try out.

The colorful program includes QiGong, brain jogging, memory training, Taekwondo for children and adults, trial hikes on the topic of climate therapy, a balance course and driving safety training for (older) beginners and those returning - especially with pedelecs.

The second regional day of the Zugspitz Region will be delicious and tasty. Once again, numerous regional suppliers present their products and delicacies. “Domestic businesses and their products are moving more and more into the focus of the consumer. For many it is important that they know where the products they buy come from and that they are of the best quality. Our regional day is perfect for trying out manufacturers and products from the Zugspitz region, ”emphasizes Lisa Loth, regional manager for the Zugspitz region. In addition to high-quality food, such as the Zugspitz region bread, this also includes lovingly and handcrafted items such as hats, jewelery, bags and the products of the regional brand “ins Hoamat ”.
