After four rounds of negotiations and several warning strikes, there is now a collective agreement for the around 219,000 retail workers in Berlin and Brandenburg, according to the union.
Both sides reached an agreement on Tuesday in Berlin, said Verdi.
According to this, employees will in future receive a total of 4.7 percent more money with a term of 24 months.
Berlin - Salespeople will initially receive three percent more from November this year.
Employees with a higher ranking receive a fixed amount of 80 euros.
From July 2022, all employees will then receive a further 1.7 percent.
Verdi had called on employees to go on warning strikes several times in the past few months.
However, branches were not closed as a result.
The trade association Berlin-Brandenburg initially did not comment on the conclusion on Tuesday.
