Human Rights Watch presented on Tuesday its investigation into cases of human rights violations during the protests in Cuba last July.

José Miguel Vivanco, the organization's director for the Americas, was critical of some Latin American governments that, in his opinion, do not allow democracy, and referred to the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

CNN has sought a reaction from the Mexican authorities on what Vivanco said without having a position so far.
