Under the direction of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and on the recommendation of Minister of Internal Security Amar Bar-Lev, two Border Police companies will be mobilized to fight crime in the Arab sector in the south of the country starting Sunday.

According to the plan, the two companies that will be recruited next week will be stationed in the Jerusalem envelope.

In their place two regular companies will be transferred to the south to transfer skilled forces to assist in the matter.

Depending on the situation assessment, additional steps will be considered as needed.

In a conversation with Israel Today last week, the commander of the new southern border, Sgt.

The South welcomed the decision, but is still skeptical.

"The test of the result is what will determine," Pini Badash, head of the Omar Council, who has been suffering from the crime of scattering around it, told Israel Today.

"The Bedouin problem in the south owes only to the border.

They know the job neatly, "he says.

"The first to suffer"

Badash explained that he has workers who live in Tel Sheva, who say that if the state acts, residents there will start "singing."

According to him, the Bedouin are the first to suffer from the crimes, but are afraid to speak out.

"We will not be deceived by temporary solutions to reduce public pressure," the Negev Rescue Committee responded to the plan, "We will continue to fight until the Negev receives proper permanent solutions."

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Muhammad Miklad Jabarin was shot dead yesterday in Umm al-Fahm.

This is the 102nd murder in Arab society since the beginning of the year.

Following this, the city council of Umm al-Fahm convened for an emergency meeting.

According to Palestinian reports, a resident of Kfar Qassem was killed in the Palestinian Authority.

Among other things, it was reported that the body of the murdered man was thrown near a banquet hall in the city of Ariel and was located after the Palestinian police forwarded a report to the Israeli police.
