The doxa is: #MeToo is a formidable revolution, with, unfortunately, some regrettable drifts.
I argue the reverse: it is a structurally flawed movement, which however had the undeniable merit of forcing to consider indeed very serious questions At the beginning, #BalanceTonPorc, first, then #MeToo, left me doubtful, and quite uncomfortable.
Obviously, the practices denounced were intolerable.
