A 17-year-old man was seriously injured last night (Wednesday) in a fire that occurred in an apartment on Ben Zvi Street in Netanya.
The boy was taken to Ichilov Hospital with burns all over his body.
MDA personnel, senior medic Viki Chachmon and paramedic Yaki Hajaj, said: "MDA's large forces, which include intensive care vehicles, ambulances and motorcycles, were rushed to the incident. With the help of the building's occupants and firefighters, the boy was rescued. Who was conscious and suffering from severe burns to his body and inhalation of smoke.
"We immediately began life-saving medical treatment that included fluids and oxygen, and evacuated him in an intensive care unit while continuing medical treatment to Ichilov Hospital."
