At 1:7 pm today (20th), a fire broke out in a warehouse in Luo Uk Village, Heng Tai Shan, Pat Heung, Yuen Long. The fire was out of control. At one point, an explosion was heard, and thick smoke hit the sky. About 60 people were in panic. Evacuation, firefighters arrived and opened their throats to fight the fire.
It is understood that the cause of the fire was related to the sudden fire of the forklift when the workers started the forklift engine. Due to the large amount of debris in the warehouse, the fire was extremely violent.
A nearby employee said that a car caught fire at first and the fire was not too violent. Firefighters reported to the scene to put out the fire. Afterwards, the fire tended to spread.
