How do you reach balance?

Do you know that you are doing a good deed and then flying over yourself and being filled with pride? There is really pride that is positive, that a person knows he is good, but when it crosses the line - it is not good.

So what do we do in a situation where we have crossed the line and our heart is filled with negative and not good pride? How can it be regulated to the right place and what is the technique to balance the feeling that overwhelms us? Admor Rabbi Pinto, head of the fathers of courts in Morocco, addressed this margin was:

"There are times when a man entered the pride of heart, when people look at the commandments or the Torah or promotional learned many did, then indentation opinion on it as we found Rabbi Elazar the son of "Rashbi, who was hiking along the river and rejoiced greatly, and had a rude opinion of him because he learned a lot of Torah (Ta'anit 20)."
