In the collision with a construction crane on the B39 near Altlußheim (Baden-Württemberg), a 16-year-old scooter driver was seriously injured on Wednesday.
As the police announced, the man had driven from Speyer (Rhineland-Palatinate) to the construction site area at the Salierbrücke in the morning and collided with the construction crane.
Due to his serious injuries, the young driver had to be flown to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
Altlußheim - The Mannheim traffic police are investigating how the accident happened.
