After a knife attack in Velten (Oberhavel district), the police are investigating an attempted homicide.
In a quarrel between three men, a 43-year-old was seriously injured with a knife on Tuesday evening, said the public prosecutor and the police.
The man was therefore taken to a hospital and operated on there.
Velten - According to the information on Wednesday, officials provisionally arrested a suspected 38-year-old near the crime scene shortly after the attack.
A breath alcohol test showed him a value of around one per thousand.
The homicide squad is investigating.
