At least 13 people were killed today (Wednesday) in a Syrian army bus explosion in central Syria, official television reported.
Three other people were injured in an explosion of two side bombs.
According to the regime's official media, the bus, which burned completely, was hit while traveling on the Hefaz al-Assad bridge.
A third charge was defused by the army.
No organization has claimed responsibility for the attack in Damascus, which has become safer in recent years after the regime ousted rebels from the capital's suburbs.
However, the Islamic State (ISIS) continues to attack the army and its allies, which in recent years have recaptured most of Syria.
The UN estimates that at least 350,000 people have been killed since the uprising in Bashar Assad's regime in 2011.
