Strollers should be especially careful or avoid visiting the parks in the first place.
The foundation did not rule out closing the facilities depending on the weather.
There were calls to citizens to secure loose objects outside of houses.
Because of the predicted autumn storm, the Gardens of the World, the Britzer Garden, the Natur-Park Schöneberger Südgelände and the Botanical Volkspark Blankenfelde-Pankow remain closed on Thursday.
The operation of the cable car between Kienbergpark and the Gardens of the World will also be discontinued.
