Things are slowly getting serious: Since the branch of the Sparkasse Oberland in Hohenfurch will close on February 1st of next year (we reported), the planned self-service pavilion now has to start moving.
The building application for this was granted at the latest Hohenfurch municipal council meeting - but with urgent recommendations to the developer.
Hohenfurch
- The location and design of the pavilion did not give rise to any discussion.
The modern cube with a sloping roof will stand on the community-owned green space next to the REWE store.
But the local council found the alignment of the mandatory parking lot "unfavorable".
According to the construction plan, this is to be built to the right of the length of the pavilion.
“That would mean that the driver would drive backwards, without a reasonable view, directly into the entrance of the supermarket parking lot,” remarked Markus Rieger.
And: "With every carport we think about the unobstructed view, and we should here too."
Even if Mayor Vogelsgesang and his councilors assume that the self-service customers will use the large parking lot of the REWE store anyway, they did not want to leave it there.
"I will talk to those responsible at the Sparkasse that a parking space in front would make more sense," promised the head of the community.
They also wanted to ask whether a darkened pane could not be installed on the east side of the pavilion.
Since these two points were not the subject of the resolution to be taken, the building application was unanimously approved - and the wishes of the mayor and the Sparkasse Oberland were given as homework, so to speak.
