After the Corona outbreak in a Bad Doberan care facility, Minister of Social Affairs Stefanie Drese (SPD) called for a consistent implementation of booster vaccinations for people at risk.
The reason for this is that the vaccination protection in people at risk decreases significantly after a good six months, said Drese on Wednesday in Schwerin.
The care facilities have top priority for the mobile vaccination teams of the districts and urban districts and the general practitioners.

As the manager of the affected senior center "Am Tempelberg", Jolanta Armbrecht, said on Wednesday, six residents have died in the past two weeks in connection with a corona infection.
Of the 83 residents of the inpatient care facility, 66 were positive and 35 of the around 60 nursing staff tested positive for the corona virus.
The vaccination rate for residents is 94 percent and for employees around 70 percent.
